A person who is able to complete a certain pattern for every game is considered to be the winner and he or she has to shout “BINGO”, to alert other players that he or she calls for a possible win. It is important for a person to shout BINGO before drawing another number.

Bingo Cards:

Each bingo card has 5 by 5 matrices that contain 25 squares arranged in 5 vertical columns and 5 horizontal rows. Each of the 25 squares is represented by a certain number. A typical Bingo game uses the number 1 to 75, and each of the 5 columns of the bingo card is labeled from left to right with “B”, “I”, “N”, “G”, “O”. The center most box usually contains no number and is marked with “free”, meaning it is already automatically filled. Under the “B” column, numbers range from 1 to 15, “I” column, 16 to 30, “N” column, 31 to 45, “G” column, 46 to 60, and “O” column, 61 to 75.

It is possible for anyone to play bingo, as long as he or she is able to comprehend with the numbers drawn and the numbers on his or her bingo card/s.
